Take your diving to the next level at the Pitt Diving Camp: High School 1 Meter—a high-impact training opportunity designed specifically for athletes in grades 9–12.
Led by Head Coach Katherine Kasprzak, Assistant Coach Ford McLiney, and current University of Pittsburgh divers, this camp provides expert instruction in a supportive and focused environment. With an emphasis on technique, fundamentals, and precision, divers will break down every phase of the dive—from approach and hurdle to takeoff and entry—building the foundation for a successful season.
Whether you’re looking to strengthen your basics or refine your existing list, this camp delivers individualized attention and proven training methods.
- 3 hours of targeted skill development
- Dryland training: approach, hurdle mechanics, and body position
- In-water sessions to reinforce technique and apply feedback
- Video analysis for visual feedback and faster improvement
- Mentorship from college-level athletes and coaches

Each camper must bring:
- Diving gear; suit (one piece for girls)

INSTRUCTION GROUP SIZE
Pitt Diving Camps prides itself on our small divers-to-coach ratio. Divers will be in small groups of divers to enable fantastic coaching and the opportunity to build relationships and trust with the coaching staff.
ALL CAMPS ARE OPEN TO ANY AND ALL ENTRANTS, ONLY LIMITED BY NUMBER, AGE, GRADE OR GENDER.
NCAA GUIDELINES PROHIBIT PAYMENT OF CAMP EXPENSES (E.G., TRANSPORTATION, CAMP FEES, SPENDING MONEY, ETC.) BY A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE UNIVERSITY OF PITTSBURGH ATHLETICS INTERESTS. NCAA RULES ALSO PROHIBIT FREE OR REDUCED CAMP ADMISSION FOR PROSPECTS (9TH GRADE AND ABOVE).
